When i take off a room for acoustic ceiling it is nice to have the option to show the area dimension, some rooms require seismic bracing based on size. being able to hand over a print to the field for rooms that show dimensions makes determining these rooms simple

It seems that the program is not remembering which screens I had additional takeoff windows on. If I recall, it did remember this in the past. When I open a project and open another takeoff screen, they always open on top of the main screen. Additionally, while using multiple screens, if I minimize the main screen to access something else on my computer, when I re-open/maximize Buzzbid, the additional takeoff screens are there but they are half-sized and half on-half off the main screen.

Currently the program will calculate cementitious fireproofing and intumescent fireproofing. The third type of fireproofing is mineral fiber board. This would be similar to the idea of drywall encapsulation of beams and columns. Recognizing that we already have a search function within the plan page drop down selection window, I am wondering if it would be possible to implement color coding of the plan pages. It seems like that would best be implemented from the Setup pane. Whenever I process a set of plans in Bluebeam to get it ready for takeoff I always color code certain sheets to provide a really nice visual quick reference. Over the years I've adopted a simple color coding system that helps me spot certain pages at a glance and eliminate the extra steps of searching/scrolling. Wall/ceiling assemblies are always yellow, schedules are always red, RCPs are always hot pink....that sort of thing. If it were possible to implement user defined color coding of plan pages in Buzzbid I think that would really help to streamline the workflow, particularly for pages like wall/ceiling assemblies that you access over and over. Seeing those easily without needing to scroll or search would save quite a bit of time over the long haul. The snip example I provided is from a small plan set so maybe not a great example, but it fits on one snip. When you have a plan set with 500 pages, color coding the tabs really matters.

For those of us with less than amazing eyesight, it would be much appreciated if there were a way to implement a mouse pointer with user definable parameters like color and shape/style. Since pretty much all plans are black markings on a white background, being able to define a red pointer that extends to infinity in both directions makes using the software so much more comfortable. It's quite easy to loose the small black pointer I am sorry to report.
